Technology: The Flexdrive platform includes an F1 Fleet Management Portal for operators and an app for drivers, enabling an end-to-end subscription experience. Flexdrive also offers business intelligence support like pricing strategy, data visualization and predictive modeling.
Operations: With onboarding, reservation and subscription management in one central location, Flexdrive’s dashboard helps fleet owners deliver first-rate experiences throughout a customer’s journey. In addition, operators can manage inventory and pricing, including the ability to control vehicle listings in the Flexdrive app.
Marketing: Flexdrive’s partners get access to the resources they need to increase brand awareness. From setting up referral programs, targeting region-specific customer needs and suggesting effective search formulas, we help fleet owners attract and retain lasting customers. We also share our insights — including market research, analytics and usability testing — as we go along.
Customer support: We’re all about creating happy drivers, and enable fleet owners to do the same. Our partners have access to a platform for managing inquiries, whether the customer communicates via email or voicemail. Flexdrive has dedicated phone lines for general support and for roadside assistance/accident reports. In addition to our off-the-shelf subscription solutions, we also build customizations, integrations — or even full custom products — according to the needs of fleet operators and their consumers.
We’ve assembled a team of top-notch experts to help fulfill our mission. While we’re stationed in Atlanta, our roots extend around the world. We’re a mix of technologists, data nerds, UX & design ninjas, field experts, finance wizards and customer happiness specialists. We come from start-ups, entrepreneurial ventures and Fortune 50s, bringing a combined 40+ years of background in the automotive industry alone.
Our launch story
In 2014, Flexdrive was founded by Jose Ignacio Puente within the Cox Automotive Strategy & Innovation Groupʼs startup incubator program. A leader in consumer-facing Automotive Media & Technology, Cox Automotive quickly recognized that Flexdrive meets a very real consumer demand for a no-strings-attached alternative to ownership. With the support of Cox Automotive, Flexdrive pioneered our subscription-based technology platform and leveraged it to put hundreds of drivers on the road in just a yearʼs time.
In April 2017, Flexdrive graduated from Cox Automotiveʼs Strategy & Innovation Group. Flexdrive is now an independent startup, jointly funded by our partners Cox Automotive and Holman Enterprises. Holman operates not only Holman Automotive, the 16th largest dealership group in the United States, but also ARI, a global leader in vehicle fleet management. With the combined expertise and resources of these two powerhouse partners behind us, Flexdrive is uniquely positioned to own the category of mobility subscription solutions.
